The Citizen’s Trust held our first in-person event this week and it was a big success! The World Cup Bluesday saw plenty of City stars in action for Portugal, Uzbekistan, England and Ghana, and dozens of Trust members got together to see it.
It was also a great opportunity to meet each other, chat and start building the community that the Trust wants to become in the months and years ahead.
There were ups and downs in the football itself and it was a hot day, but a good time was had by all.
The venue was Sureshot Brewery just behind Piccadilly Station, and it may not be the last time we go there. Big thank you to the management for hosting us! We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier welcome and the whole environment seemed ideal for us!
We’re about football and getting the best deal for City supporters, but also about socialising and creating a nice little club for Blues to be part of.
There will be more events in future alongside campaigns, community work and everything else – this is a great time to get involved and help us shape the future of the Trust.
