We are really pleased to say that we’ve reached 500 members in just three days! That’s our first major milestone and we’d like to thank everyone who has joined, supported and spread the word.
The Trust exists by and for its members. The more members we have, the more we can do collectively – so the more the merrier!
For now, it’s beyond what we hoped for and demonstrates the strength of feeling.
But what comes next? Having members is one thing, but we know that comes with a responsibility.
Week one was about building and getting the first wave of people through the door.
The next steps will come soon. We’ll contact members with more information about the Trust, how you can get involved, what elections look like and more next week. (w.b. 13/04/2026)
Until then, thank you again for your support but also for your patience. The Interim Board are all volunteers and we are getting everything sorted to get members active as we speak.
Finally, we’d like to especially thank Katie Wrench (Interim Memberships Officer) and Nicola Unsworth (Interim Vice Treasurer) who have taken care of so much in the background you wouldn’t believe. The launch wouldn’t have been such a success without their effort in particular!
